The Ethics of Business
Geez…wouldn’t it be nice if businesses didn’t need legislation to act ethically?
It would take a mind shift for a sizable majority of folks in the business world to take off their blinders and realize that there’s more to success than only making lots of money.
Don’t misunderstand me…there’s nothing wrong with makin’ the old green back (or green, black, blue, and red back…or whatever color the U.S. currency is this week). But having a little sense about how what you do or make effects everyone around you, including your customers, might bring about some social change.
As my buddy David Schwerin, www.consciousthinking.com, says in his book “Conscious Globalism” moving from ME and THEM behavior to US behavior would change everything.
We could still make good money but it would take on a whole new attitude.
