The Light in Your Mind

People often

ask me how to start a business. My answer always starts with the same general idea. Look around you, see what needs to be done better, needs a total rework, or hasn't been done before. Once you see it, that "light in your mind" will be turned on and, if you're serious about it, you'll start investigating how to accomplish that thing that brought that "light" to you. Investigate, plan, figure out your market, estimate your costs, who (if any) other people you'll need, how you'll compensate them, where you'll get the money (if necessary) to start your idea up, find a mentor/advisor, form your LLC, C Corp. or S Corp, and figure out how much time you need to spend to, hopefully, make it successful. That's just the start! It's the determination, along with the things mentioned above that will set you of the road to business growth.
